| You really have missed the point Mr Colenso. We all judge by appearances a lot of the time, often with good reason. A dude who has tattoos all down his arm especially of a certain kind, is probably not the sort of man a single woman should let through her front door. The point I was making with the dread is that he had the wrong attitude. You may prefer his company to mine; you can have his nits as well if you do. Once had the temerity to do that myself in a London pub many years ago and was threatened with physical violence by the lout serving behind the bar. Here then is my advice to you mate: First, stop judging others by their appearance - it's evident you lack both the necessary wisdom and the intuition to do this successfully. (Even by your own account, the dread sounds like he’d be better company than you, that’s for sure). Second, give up the take-away chicken and the coke.
